Classic Tomato Pasta
Ingredients
4 servings
- 1 lb (450g) Spaghetti
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 (28 ounce / 794g) can Crushed Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Dried Oregano
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Fresh Basil for garnish
Directions
1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
2. While pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and oregano. Simmer for 10-15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
4. Drain pasta and add to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat.
5. Serve garnished with fresh basil.
